Not really a racist

I love the entrepreneurial spirit. Wealth creators are the backbone of this nation, taking a small loan from a bank setting up an office and charging fearlessly into the mélee of the Free Market.

Or indeed, a loan from one’s Pater, setting up a limited liability investment vehicle and charging fearlessly into the mélee of the Free Market knowing that, whilst you may fail and make people redundant, you are not personally culpable.

What I really admire, however, is the front-line fighters- people willing to deal over ebay or Facebook with no such safety blanket.

But how can we know we trust them?

ebay has it’s rating system, I know, and many traders opt to create a home-made 100% Guarantee, that Guarantees the Guarantee is 100% Guaranteed!

I find the best way is simply to ask myself if this person has Common Sense, and this chap does. In droves.

Just the facts

On it rumbles, this News of the World stuff, and I cannot for the life of me determine why! The law is quite clear that if I’m interested in somebody’s life then they lose their right of privacy until my curiosity is sated and I have enough material to fill my mental picture about how I imagine they live.

This is necessary. Without it, we get the following sort of error in The Sun- perfectly understandable as the man clearly wasn’t able to fully ascertain the facts in this particular tragedy and had to make some reasonable assumptions instead, poor sod!

"IN an article published on The Sun website on January 27 under the headline Gollum joker killed in live rail horror’ we incorrectly stated that Julian Brooker, 23, of Brighton, was blown 15ft into the air after accidentally touching a live railway line.

His parents have asked us to make clear he was not turned into a fireball, was not obsessed with the number 23 and didn’t go drinking on that date every month.

Julian’s mother did not say, during or after the inquest, her son often got on all fours creeping around their house pretending to be Gollum.

Improving on nature

And so it is that some silly, messy woman gets fired from Harrods for refusing to wear makeup and the Feminazis all start burning their bras. Thank god for Liz Jones, who argues stridently against women ever not wearing make-up. And so we go once more into the breach as Liz says...
